实时时钟（RTC）精度在大多数嵌入式应用的要求，但由于外部环境–温度变化、频率变化的晶体时钟RTC–RTC精度可能不准确的预期。

RTC嵌入在STM32F101xx和STM32F103xx附带一个数字时钟适用于制造环境校准电路，允许应用程序补偿晶体和温度变化。
